Niantic recently introduced a new feature to the game which is called Go Battle League. This new feature allows trainers to battle other trainers globally. The feature was released a week ago but within 24 hours of its release, it got temporarily disabled due to connection issues.
Many players are also facing lagging & freezing issues with the Go Battle League. While some players are facing issues with Go Battle League rewards. Observing these issues, it seems like the new feature is still a bit buggy. Well, Niantic has not addressed each issue individually.
But it has taken the route of Twitter to confirm that they are working on fixes and access to GO Battle League has been closed for the next 16-24 hours. Matches in progress will not be affected, but players won’t be able to begin new matches. Have a look at the official statement down below.
We are keeping a close watch on this matter and whenever the Go Battle League will go live again, we will update you with the information. Apart from that, Niantic has announced many new events for the game, for the month of February.
The list of events that will take place in February are the following : Save Shadow Raikou from Giovanni, February Research Breakthrough encounter: Woobat, Tornadus raids, Sinnoh celebration event, Valentine’s Day Event, Friendship weekend event, Pokémon Spotlight Hour and Mystery Bonus Hour.
Pokemon Go February Community Day details have also been announced and it will feature Pokemon Rhyhorn. Pokemon Go February Community Day will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2020. Community Day Timings for the northern hemisphere are 11 am to 2 am. (local time). However, for the southern hemisphere, Community Day timings are – 3 pm to 6 pm (local time).
Pokemon Go February Community Day is also featuring a variety of bonuses for players. The list of bonuses that will be awarded to players includes the following: 3× Catch Stardust & 3 hours lures. Also, if you are lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Rhyhorn.
