Niantic has updated its blog “Pokemon Go Live” & added a new Play at home tab which guides players on how to play the game by staying indoor. Pokemon Go is based on a concept that encourages players to go out & catch Pokemon.
But due to the coronavirus pandemic, Niantic had to make certain changes to the game such that it can be enjoyed at home. It introduced Remote Raid Pass, which allows players to raid remotely.
Players can obtain these raid passes from the in-game shop. In an interesting reveal, Niantic has confirmed on the blog that players will be able to invite their friends to join in Raids, regardless of where they are.
However, players cannot have more than three Remote Raid Passes at once. There will also be a bonus Field Research task once per day. These tasks will be different from the ones you receive from Pokestops. Bonus Field Research tasks feature activities which can easily be completed at home.
Cut to now, Pokemon Go players on iOS devices are really facing many issues while playing the game for the last few weeks. Earlier, we reported Pokemon Go players faced the issue of crashing on iPhone devices.
Well, Niantic is currently looking to resolve this issue & has also acknowledged the same on its official platform. Apart from this, reports on Reddit (TheSilphRoad) suggests that many users on iOS devices are unable to connect to Pokeball Plus & Pokemon Go Plus when the phone is closed . Have a look at a few complaints regarding the same.
But Niantic has not addressed this issue yet, but we certainly hope, devs will look into this matter & resolve it at the earliest. Rest assured, we are keeping a close tab on all the developments & will update you with more information whenever it arrives.
