The Pocophone F1 continues to be one of the finest smartphones in the mid-range bracket. It was also regarded as the best ‘flagship killer’ when it was released back in 2018. The benchmark specifications of the device were the main reason behind its success.

Poco is now a standalone brand but Xiaomi continues to provide software updates to its devices. While Pocophone F1 (Poco F1) recently got its June security update, the July security update for Russian users is now rolling out to the device.

Pocophone F1 users are receiving the update via OTA but it can also be flashed manually. Here’s the changelog along with the download link.

The highly acclaimed smartphone is part of the official MIUI 12 roadmap but is still due to get the much-awaited update. Xiaomi is done with the first stage of the rollout and later this month the second stage in which the Poco F1 is listed to receive MIUI 12 will begin.

No official announcements about the Pocophone F1 MIUI 12 stable update has been made yet but the device has been receiving constant security updates from the OEM which is a good sign.
