[Update: List out] Poco F3 & Poco X3 Pro MIUI 12 Stable Testers now wanted, but still no news of MIUI 12.5 (Application link inside)

Xiaomi kickstarted their Stable Testers program back in early February. The program was called ‘Pilot Testers’ back then. Since then, it has seen a couple of reboots and several new devices added to its roster.

However, this initial program had laid more emphasis on Mi and Redmi devices, which is why it was rebooted a month later for Poco devices alone.

But of course, the smartphone world is an ever-changing landscape and new releases are commonplace. Xiaomi released a bunch of devices in the past couple of months alone including the likes of the Mi 11 Ultra and the Redmi Note 10 series.

Poco has also been quite busy. The brand launched the Poco X3 Pro in late March, which is essentially a souped-up version of the Poco X3. This is combined with the Poco F3 – the global variant of the Chinese Redmi K40.

Now, the Poco F3 recently got taken up into the Chinese MIUI 12.5 beta program and has seen continual beta releases ever since.

However, the device’s release date meant that it was a bit too late to be a part of the Poco Stable Testers program. The same goes for the Poco X3 Pro as well.

This has changed now as the Poco Stable Testers program has been restarted to include the Poco F3 and Poco X3 Pro as well. But that’s not all as Poco is also accepting applications for the previously included devices.

All in all, the complete list is comprised of the following:

1. POCO F3 [MI, RU, ID, EEA]
2. POCO X3 PRO [Global, IN, EEA, RU, ID]
3. POCO X3/NFC [Global, RU, IN, EEA, ID]
4. POCO F2 PRO [Global, RU, ID, EEA]
5. POCO X2 [IN]
6. POCO M3 [Global, RU, ID, EEA, IN]
7. POCO M2 PRO [IN]
8. POCO M2 [IN]
9. POCO C3 [IN]

In case you’re wondering what the random alphabets stand for – “MI” means Global, “IN” means Indian, “EU” means Europe, “RU” means Russian, and “ID” means Indonesian version. So yeah, applicants from all these regions can apply.

Do keep in mind though, that further announcements regarding this will be made through dedicated Telegram channels/groups. Also, updates that will be rolled out as part of the program will still be based on MIUI 12, albeit a newer bleeding-edge version.

And as for MIUI 12.5, well, there is still no news regarding a global rollout. The Redmi K40, which is the Chinese variant of the Poco F3, did bag a stable MIUI 12.5 update recently. But whereabouts of a global release are still unknown.
