PUBG is one of the most played Battle Royale games on the planet, & its player base has further increased in the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, as everyone is sitting home & it has spiked the activity of gamers on Steam & consoles.
PUBG recently received an update 7.2 on Console & PC. It has added one of the most awaited features Ranked mode to the game. With the inclusion of this mode, players can battle with opponents of a similar skill set.
However, Ranked mode operates under its own settings. There are also 6 different tiers for the Ranked mode of the game. Each tier comprises of five divisions. The list of tiers which are available in the Ranked mode includes the following : Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master.
Apart from this Ranked mode, a Hotfix patch has also been released on May 27 & it has addressed some major bugs of the update 7.2. A fix has been deployed for the issue where players could clip through a warehouse on Sanhok.
The latest patch has also fixed an issue with the voice chat, where some players were unable to hear their teammate voice chat, despite mic output working correctly for both parties. You can check the complete list of bug fixes by heading here.
Cut to now, PUBG fans can rejoice as their beloved game will be available for free-to-play from June 4, 2020, at 17:00 UTC to June 8, 2020, at 17:00 UTC. So, you and your friends can try out PUBG at no cost.
