Pixel Experience is one of the most widely used Android custom ROMs. It offers the stock Android user experience that usually comes along with Google Pixel devices. So far, a lot of devices have received the Android 10 support because of Pixel Experience.
While Pixel Experience developers continue to provide Android 10 support to many devices that are not officially supported, Pixel Experience has announced the final Android 10 feature update after which only security updates will be provided for 3 more months.
Moreover, the Android 10 builds will be available on the Pixel Experience site for six months. This should not come as a surprise as Google has already released Android 11 which means that it is time for custom ROM developers to step up to Android 11 as well.
While no announcements on the Android 11-based Pixel Experience ROM have been made yet, it is safe to assume that custom ROM developers are definitely in the process of bringing the Android 11 support.
It must be noted that CarbonROM 8 already brought Android 11 support to many devices recently. Also, Pixel Experience has provided Android 10 support to the likes of Mi MIX 3 5G, Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, Redmi Note 4, Moto G6 Plus, and a bunch of other devices.
This clearly indicates that modders and custom ROM developers like Pixel Experience strive to keep older devices alive. That said, we hope to see Android 11-based Pixel Experience ROMs for Android devices soon.
Meanwhile, we have curated a consolidated Android 11 update tracker for all major OEMs so be sure to check it out to stay updated on the topic.
