Philips Hue 'Natural Light' mode still missing for some even after v4.32 update

Using the Philips Hue app, you can easily organize, control and customize your Philips Hue smart lights and other accessories. It is available on both Android and iOS and connects to accessories via Bluetooth.

Signify added a new functionality a couple of months ago that brought ‘Natural Light’ mode to the app. However, its access was limited, and they removed it later on citing that it was not supported officially yet.

As the name suggests, the Natural Light mode mimics the sun’s movement throughout the day using different shades of warm-to-cool white light.

After you turn on this feature, it will start with a bright cool tone at dawn. And as the day comes to an end, it changes to a warm, golden glow that helps you relax as the sun sets.

And now, it is being reported that Philips officially added this feature back to the app with the most recent v4.32 update on Android and iOS. But the update changelog does not mention anything about it.

However, while some users say they got this feature after the update, others still can’t see or use the Natural Light scene with their Philips Hue setups even though they are on the required version.

A Redditor claims that they already got this feature on the previous v4.31.1 released earlier this month which is strange as others are getting it through the recent update.

And since there isn’t any official word on this, we can only assume that this feature might still be in the testing phase or it’s probably rolling out gradually with a server-side update.
