New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on January 24, 2022) follows:
In a world full of streaming services, Paramount Plus is a pretty new OTT video streaming platform that gained massive popularity in the last few years.
All thanks to users having access to content from the original Paramount library in addition to CBS, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, and many more, the streaming service has more than 48 million subscribers as of 2021.
But sometimes, people do run into some technical glitches such as the recently reported volume issue causing commercials to sound way too loud and another issue where the NCIS: LA Season 12 was missing for many.
That being said, several Paramount Plus users recently complained that the app was crashing or not working for them when they were watching the NFL playoff match.
Subscribers said that the app crashed multiple times when watching the game, adding that they missed some of the most important moments in the match. Here is what some of the complainants have to say about the frequent crashes.
But shoutout to @paramountplus to the most unbelievable performance in that game. Incredible to have the app crash on every meaningful play. Truly, it was art. Didn’t want to see the winning play in one of the greatest games ever anyway.

@paramountplus @Roku @RokuSupport Trying to watch NFL playoffs and your service continues to crash. This is not the first time. More than likely will cancel/unsubscribe after football season if this is not fixed.

@paramountplus – PLEASE fix your streaming service! It’s horribly laggy. The skip button is useless because it never works. You have shows I love but your service is infuriating. I’ve used the site, the app, etc and it *all* sucks. PLEASE FIX IT!
