Overwatch is one of the most famous competitive games of all time. Released in 2016 by Blizzard Entertainment, it is a team-based strategy shooting game.
The game is similar to Valorant, with every character having a unique set of capabilities that help them gain an advantage in team fights.
In case you want to play with your friends, the game also supports cross-play.
Nonetheless, Overwatch is not bug-free, and players are affected by some issues every once in a while.
The latest issue haunting Overwatch players is the top 500 leaderboard bug. According to gamers, they are unable to see their profile on the leaderboards when playing competitively.
It looks like the bug affects both PlayStation and Xbox users. Players say no matter what they do, their profiles are not shown on the top 500 leaderboards.
I have all requirements, The amount of games needed, The skill rating, The SMS authenticator, I have always played on EU but I am still not visable in the Top500 open queue ranking, why is that? Not on the leaderboard nor in game Top500 icon.

Does anyone know why ranks are not appearing in game for all players on PS4? Is there a setting or is this a bug that I’m experiencing but for some reason when loading into a game ranks of players are displayed but none are displayed on the in-game leaderboard thing

We want to share with you that this is not the first time players are reporting the bug.
User reports suggest that the issue is almost five years old. Ever since, Blizzard seems to be in no hurry to release a fix for the Overwatch top 500 leaderboard bug.
At least this time, the developers have acknowledged the bug and said they are working on a fix. However, there is no ETA when the fix will be coming.
We hope Blizzard Entertainment fixes the issue as soon as possible since gamers usually grind hours nonstop to reach the top of the leaderboards.
