Overwatch 2 has been in the rumours for quite a while now. Overwatch players have been looking out for any details about any news, rumours or speculations pertaining to the Overwatch 2 before the BlizzCon 2019 and today we have some solid leaks for the game.
ESPN recently came out with a leak for Overwatch 2 and claimed that they have obtained a document which gives away information on Overwatch 2.
An earlier report by Kotaku suggested that Blizzard was working on PvE mode for Overwatch 2 using resourced from cancelled StarCraft project. The StarCraft was a FPS which used the Overwatch engine in its core.
According to the training document, the Hero Talents and other in-game items are coming to Overwatch PvE. There will be four player missions with story set in Rio de Janeiro. The new game will focus on the story mode and its narrative but it will also release a new mode called “Push” with Assault, Control, Escort and Hybrid. Push will be based on a new map called Toronto.
For the fans going to the BlizzCon, we have some good news, the new game mode and the PvE mode will be available for you to play. Also, you can expect a new hero to be announced also in the event. The PvE mode seems a logical as we haven’t seen much of the heroes interact with the Overwatch world.
Although, these all are leaks from ESPN with their sources but it’s not officially confirmed. So, fans should take this information with a grain of salt.
So, bluckle up your seats because we will be getting all the details in the BlizzCon 2019 which will be held on November 1.
We will keep updating here as more leaks surface. Stay tuned with us for more information on Overwatch 2.
