BlizzCon 2019 was one of the most awaited events of the year. Partly, because of the ruckus the leaks of Overwatch 2 had caused. The player base had their eyes peeled at the event and the Overwatch time slot specifically.

Blizzard finally revealed the first look at Overwatch 2 at BlizzCon 2019 event. The sequel to Overwatch was much awaited and will focus on a story-driven PvE co-op missions. Blizzard also announced a ton of new content coming to the game as well.

The game’s announcement cinematic was titled “Zero Hour” and showed us all the heroes reunited to defend against an attack by Null Sector in Paris. The trailer imbues a story line gameplay which of course if of the essence in Overwatch 2.

The game also has talents for the heros and an option to rank up your hero. These talents when are unlocked by ranking up, boost the power of the heroes. For example, the cinematic shows tracer using chain reaction pulse bomb which starts a bomb chain reaction to nearby enemies.

At the time of BlizzCon, the Rio de Janeiro map is available to be played at the event itself. Take a look at the announcement cinematic below –

For the PvP mode, the company has revealed the all new mode Push and it’s all new Toronto map as well. The map is the first Canadian map for the game. The skins and the other cosmetics will be carried on to the new game as well.

The Story missions shown in the cinematic include a variety of maps including – Illios, Route 66, Paris, Eichenwalde, Busan and Toronto. Blizzard also revealed Sojourne and Echo for the sequel as well. However we still don’t have much information about the heroes and the abilities up until now.
