Original story (published on March 12) follows:
In November last year, Oppo first introduced the latest iteration of its ColorOS skin – the ColorOS 7 – in China. Since then, the company has been actively developing the ColorOS 7, which is based on Android 10.
During the period, the Chinese company has made significant progress on the ColorOS 7 front. Just last week, Oppo came out with the fresh batch of ColorOS 7 updates for the early adopters of Reno 10x Zoom, Reno 2, Reno Ace, Find X, R17, and R17 Pro devices.
Last week, the company also shared a new roadmap for rolling Android 10-based ColorOS 7 to the remaining eligible devices. As per the new roadmap, the company plans to start ColorOS 7 beta tests for Reno2 Z, Reno2 F, and RX17 Pro later this month.
Now, in the latest proof that the company is actively working to come out with Android 10 update as soon as possible, Oppo has released the March security update for the Reno 10x Zoom Android 10 beta users.
Along with adding the March security update, the latest patch for the Reno 10x Zoom Android 10 beta users comes with plenty of bug fixes as well.
As per the changelog (user shared images from a Telegram chat group) of the update, it fixes an issue with fingerprint unlocking, locations album in photos, disconnection and sound issues with some Bluetooth devices, GPS signal, and audio issues.
Additionally, the update brings plenty of camera improvements as well, such as optimizing Portrait mode, adding Ultra dark mode, adding video bokeh feature and more.
Now that Oppo has released the March security update for Reno 10x Zoom, other devices (Reno 2, Reno Ace, Find X, R17, and R17 Pro) that got the fresh batch of ColorOS 7 updates last week along with Reno 10x Zoom can be expected to get the March update soon as well.
