Original story (published on February 2, 2021) follows:

Android 11 is the talk of the town in the Android community. This, as more and more OEMs strive to roll out their respective Android 11-based skins to their eligible devices.

Not to be left behind, we’ve seen some progress from Oppo with regards to this new version of Android. Most recently, Oppo published its roadmap for Android 11 for the month of January.

Also worth noting is that the Oppo Find X2 Neo getting this update is sold in regions such as China, Russia and parts of Europe as the Reno3 Pro 5G.

Earlier this year, we saw Oppo rolling out its ColorOS 11 (Android 11) update plan for this first quarter of 2021.

In that listing, we saw the Oppo Reno3 Pro 5G listed by the company as slated to get updated to the stable release of ColorOS 11 by March 2021.

This Beta release is, therefore, in line with the company’s plan to have this stable build roll out on time.

Users of the said devices who are looking to take part in this Beta testing program can try signing up by updating their devices to the latest Android 10 update available then following these steps.

Click ‘Settings’>> ‘Software Update’>> Click the settings icon on the screen>> Apply for Beta Version>>Update Beta Version. And then follow the guide to apply. (If the application quota is full, please wait for the next round)

We shall continue to keep an eye on this and update as and when we have any more info so stay tuned to PiunikaWeb for that and more.
