This story is being continuously updated…. New updates are being added at the bottom…..

Original story (published on April 20) follows:

Android 10 has been around for the past several months and at this point, most eligible devices have already been updated. Most of the devices that haven’t been updated are slated to receive the update sometime within this second quarter of 2020.

OPPO has been pretty steadfast in pushing out updated to many of its devices. These updates include regular monthly security patch updates and even Android system upgrades.

OPPO F9 Pro

OPPO F9 and the Oppo F9 Pro are some of the more popular Oppo devices in the recent past. These devices launched back in August of 2018, running on Android 8 Oreo. Since then, both devices have been pretty regularly updated. Most recently, the devices received the February 2020 Android security patch update (CPH1881EX_11C.18). More on that here.

At the time of writing, the Oppo F9 and F9 Pro both run on Android 9 Pie, having been updated back in June 2019. The two devices are also in line for an update to Android 10.

Even as these device owners await an update to Android 10, Oppo is rolling out an update to both the Oppo F9 and F9 Pro. Sadly, this is not the eagerly awaited Android 10 update.
