Oppo’s new ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 has been rolling out to eligible devices for a few months now. Like any other Android OEM, the company pushes updates in batches. Therefore, not every eligible device receives the update at the same time.

The latest smartphones to receive the ColorOS 7 update are the Oppo A3, A9x, and the A9. The arrival of the OTA update is in line with our previous reports of the release plan for the Oppo A3 and the A9x/A9.

Both devices are now receiving the new software version in China. Moreover, Oppo also made an official announcement for the release of the stable ColorOS 7 (Android 10) update for the A3 as well as the A9x and A9. The official version number for the new update is F.08 and C.08 respectively.

ColorOS 7 brings a host of new changes and improvements over the previous version. This includes enhanced user privacy options, an improved user interface, new wallpapers, new animations and more.

Earlier, the company kick-started the ColorOS 7 + Android 10 beta recruitment for the Oppo A3, A9x and A9. Users in China should be receiving the OTA update notification on their device(s).

However, in case it does not show up automatically, you can search for the OTA update manually. Simply head over to Settings > Software Update and wait for the device to scan for new updates.

Of course, there are more Oppo smartphones that are yet to receive the ColorOS 7 on top of Android 10 experience. You can check out our ColorOS 7 update tracker to know when it becomes available for your device. Stay tuned to PiunikaWeb for more breaking news on similar topics.
