OnePlus is known for its flagship devices and OxygenOS which offers a smooth, simplistic yet feature-rich experience.

OnePlus’ OxygenOS also includes some stock apps that come in quite handy. Among them, the OnePlus Weather app.

OnePlus has recently upgraded its Weather app which now offers a bunch of new features along with a visual overhaul.

The latest Weather app update includes dynamic animations along with a pseudo-materialized design to naturally present weather conditions making it more realistic.

Also, the app now has a grid layout to highlight critical information so that users can access the same without any hassle.

Moreover, there are other tweaks like somatosensory temperature and PM 2.5 which are now parallel to the temperature display.

Apart from that, there is the new Sunrise & Sunset module under the Daily Forecast section which dynamically depicts the day from sunrise to sunset.

While the new Weather app update brings some handy and major changes, not all users will be able to get it just now.

This is simply because the latest update is currently meant for the OnePlus 7 and 7T series, OnePlus 8 series, OnePlus 8T, OnePlus 9 series, and OnePlus Nord.

It might be safe to presume that the latest Weather app update is meant for devices running OxygenOS 11 (Android 11) for the time being.

Hopefully, the OEM releases the said update for its older devices too as the app has now become more efficient yet easy to use.

That said, we will be back with more details as and when new information becomes available so stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
