One of the best custom UIs you can rock on a smartphone is the OxygenOS from OnePlus. The OxygenOS is almost stock Android, but provides with those extra features and tweaks that you would want to have over the stock UI.

Be it changing the icons, hiding icon labels, changing the home screen layout, and customizing the Quick Settings panel, etc. there is so much that you can do with the OxygenOS, still maintaining the vanilla experience.

OnePlus has also been known for bringing new features and updates, not for the smartphone as a whole, but for the official apps, on a regular basis.

However, going by a recent announcement made on the official community channel, the OnePlus Icon Pack, which has not updated since May 2018 and currently stands at version 1.9.2, will soon be taken off from the Google Play Store.

Note that this icon pack was suspended since May 2018, and is no longer supported by OnePlus devices. But, as per the post, the OEM will continue to optimize and update the existing three icon packs, i.e. OnePlus Icon Pack – Round, OnePlus Icon Pack – Square, and OnePlus Icon Pack – Oxygen.

You can grab the latest versions of the above mentioned icon packs from the below section or from the Google Play Store:

OnePlus Icon Pack – Square
OnePlus Icon Pack – Oxygen

And as we have mentioned earlier, you can always install new icon packs from the Google Play Store or from trusted third-party sources and use them from Settings >> Customization to customize your phone as per your liking.

This is a nice move by the company where it is not investing its time and efforts on redundant apps and clearing them off from the Google Play Store and instead investing more in new apps.
