OnePlus launched the OnePlus 8 Pro back in April 2020, and the device grabbed eyeballs of the tech enthusiast. Well, who could forget the color filter camera that could see through certain objects?

For specs buff, the phone packs all the latest flagship features like the SD 865 SoC coupled with 8-12 GB of RAM, a 4,510 mAh battery, quad-camera setup at the back and so on.

OnePlus is known for pushing timely updates for its devices and if we go by a recent Reddit post, OnePlus 8 Pro is picking up a new OxygenOS update which brings in the June 2020 security patch along with several other optimizations and fixes for the phone.

Talking about the update, this OnePlus 8 Pro update is tagged with version number 10.5.10.IN11BA and includes optimization for touch screen, power consumption, network latency, etc. for the phone.

Going by the comments on the Reddit post, as per OnePlus 8 Pro users, this new update disables the color filter camera. However, it improves the shooting experience and stability of the camera.

More importantly, this new update fixes the issues of Netflix/Amazon Prime HD video streaming and the failure to full-charge when the battery reaches 90%. Here is the complete changelog of this new OnePlus 8 Pro update:

This new 150 MB (OTA size) OnePlus 8 Pro update is currently rolling out in Europe and is expected to make its way in other regions soon. The device, alongside the standard OnePlus 8, has already received the update to Android 11, with more OnePlus devices expected to get it too.

The June security update is also rolling out to the standard OnePlus 8 in multiple markets across the globe. The update is rolling out as OxygenOS version 10.5.8 in Europe, 10.5.9 in India, and 10.5.10 on the Global variant.
