OnePlus has, over the past few months, been hard at work, testing and rolling out builds of Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 to its eligible devices.
At the time of writing, the company has rolled out the update to a majority of its eligible devices with the exception of the two OnePlus Nord devices, the Nord N10 and N100, and the oldest supported devices, the OnePlus 6 and 6T.
Perhaps the most anticipated rollout that turned dramatic is that of OxygenOS 11 to the OnePlus 7 series of devices. We have all the intrigues highlighted in our continued dedicated tracker.
In March 2021, we saw OnePlus finally roll out stable OxygenOS 11 to the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T family of devices and you can read more on that here.
We know that carrier devices often lag behind their unlocked counterparts considerably when it comes to these big upgrades.
Case in point, it took T-Mobile up to 4 months to deliver stable Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 to users of the OnePlus 8 after their unlocked international counterparts.
The same scenario is seemingly playing out with the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren on T-Mobile as users are still gawking at OxygenOS 11.
Today, users of the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren on T-Mobile are getting an update that brings with it the March 2021 security patch.
The update which has already been listed on T-Mobile’s official update tracker for the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren brings little more than this bump in security patch level.
Users who are receiving this update seem to be in high hopes that T-Mobile will soon deliver the stable build of Android 11 to their OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren units.
Received the March security update for my 7Tpro McLaren. Hope OOS11 is around the corner. Updated and no issues post update.

We can only hope to see faster development of Android 11 for the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren as OnePlus has had a few long months to do the heavy lifting in terms of bug hunting.
We shall keep an eye on this and update as and when we get more info so stay tuned to our dedicated OnePlus and T-Mobile sections for more.
