OnePlus 7T lens profile added to Adobe Lightroom

OnePlus 7T came in the second half of the last year. The $599 handset is a true value for money offering several improvements over the last-gen version, such as a 90Hz refresh rate screen, faster charging, camera improvements and many more.

Though the handset came with many camera improvements, one missing thing that many would have noticed is the lack of lens correction profiles from Adobe Lightroom. Now, in welcome news for users, OnePlus 7T lens profile has been added to Adobe Lightroom.

Talking of what this OnePlus 7T lens profile does, it helps to improve your overall camera experience, or we can say it gives you a better image. Specifically, these profiles help in correcting the lens distortion, or barrel effect. According to Adobe:

Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and the Camera Raw plug-in include numerous lens profiles, which you can use to correct common lens aberrations such as barrel and pincushion geometric distortion. Most lens profiles also correct for vignette, where the corners of an image appear darker than the rest of an image

Lens profile has been added to all four OnePlus 7T cameras, including the front camera, rear main camera, rear telephoto camera and rear wide camera.

In separate news, T-Mobile last week rolled out an update version 10.0.7.HD63CB for the OnePlus 7T. The latest update, upgrades the December 2019 security patches, which came about a month back, to the February 2020 Android security patches.

T-Mobile started rolling the update on March 4th. You should have got the update by now. If not, you can check for the update by going to Settings > System update > Check for update.
