It feels as though every day there is a new update going out to yet another OnePlus device in the form of Open Beta builds. And to be fair, this cuts across the board as more and more phone makers continue to push out updates to many of their devices.
Today, OnePlus has a neat treat for OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro users. The company is rolling out an update to their devices that fixes a few issues they had and brings new features in the process.
OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro are bagging the OxygenOS Open Beta 5 and as mentioned, it packs a few improvements but most importantly, it brings with it the June 2020 security patch update.
The new features and fixes that this update packs are highlighted in the following update changelog.

• Added the one-handed mode (To enable: Settings>Buttons & Gestures>Quick Gestures)
• Added a shortcut to switch to Dark Mode in notification bar (scroll down to enable)
• Fixed the sharp edges of application cards in the recent apps screen
• Fixed the screen flashing issue after locking the device
• Updated OnePlus Brand Logo for a refreshed look
• Updated Android Security Patch to 2020.06Bluetooth

The changelog for both devices (OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro) for this Open Beta 5 are identical.

Update 1 (June 12)
The OxygenOS Open Beta 15 update is live for OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro devices as well. The download links are now available for the OnePlus 7 and 7T series.
Update 2 (June 18)
The OnePlus 7 and 7T series is expected to get the On Handed mode feature in an upcoming Oxygen OS update. Head here for more details.
