OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus Nord bagged the stable OxygenOS 11 (Android 11) update back in March.

However, users of the OnePlus 7 series and OnePlus Nord have been reporting about an issue which is causing a delay in call notifications.

As per the reports from the OnePlus Community, the incoming call screen takes some time to appear, while the phone starts vibrating as soon as the call arrives.

Also, users are stating that the call delay issue started after they updated their OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus Nord to OxygenOS 11 (Android 11).

There are several reports and threads for the said issue on the OnePlus Community which further suggests that the issue is widespread.

However, a OnePlus staff member has stated that the developers are working to fix this problem meaning that it is a known issue.

It is unclear how long will it take to fix the issue or whether the fix will arrive in the form of an OTA update or a Dialer app update.

Nevertheless, it is good to see that the OEM has acknowledged the problem and is already working to resolve it.

To recall, users of OnePlus Nord were facing a similar issue after the OxygenOS 11 (Android 11) update where there was a delay in third-party app notifications.

While the OEM released several incremental updates, the notifications delay issue was not addressed.

Hopefully, OnePlus soon addresses the call notifications issue as it is affecting the user experience for a lot of users.
