[Updated] OnePlus 7 & OnePlus 7T series OxygenOS Open Beta 14 and 4 update with May patch rolling out (Download link inside)

While these are no longer the latest flagship smartphones from OnePlus, sticking its word, OnePlus is still supporting its older devices, and pretty well I must say.

Not too long ago, we saw OnePlus pushing out the Beta 3 update to the OnePlus 7T with the April patch and a few feature improvements, the company is today pushing out the successor to that update with even more fixes.

The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T devices in the Beta channel are today being treated to new builds. The OnePlus 7 devices are getting updated to the Open Beta 14 while the OnePlus 7T devices are getting their 4th Beta update. These updates pack the May 2020 Android security patch and a few more enhancements.

Some of these enhancements and improvements are highlighted in the following changelog.

System
• Fix the problem that some software voice input cannot be recognized
• Fix the problem of the disappearance of contacts in the address book on some devices
• More clock style options now available in the ambient display (Settings — Customization –Clock style)
• Improved system stability and fixed general issues
• Updated Android security patch to 2020.05

Phone
• Now you can view call recording in call history (move to the call history, click the three-dot menu on the upper right to access the call recording)

These are all Beta builds and as such, are only rolling out to users of the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T devices that are on the Beta channel. The update should hit eligible devices soon. However, you can still manually install it and below are the relevant links.
