Google Stadia, was supposed to be the epitome of online cloud-based game streaming service that allow the users to play console or PC-Like games via Google servers on a shedload of Android devices.

But, just in a short span of time, while Google Stadia was tweaking its performance and was thinking about how to bring a better experience to the users, a new player came into the scene and is setting an example on how the cloud-based game streaming service should be.

We are talking about the NVIDIA GeForce Now. Like Google Stadia, NVIDIA GeForce Now makes use of the NVIDIA servers to stream console-like games on a multitude of devices including, PCs, NVIDIA Sheild, and Android phones.

NVIDIA GeForce Now was expected to extend its support to Android TV devices later this year, but if we go by some of the user reports, it seems like the support has arrived sooner than expected.

As per user reports on Reddit, the GeForce Now is now working smoothly on Android TV and Xiaomi Mi Box S. Notably, the users have also shared the information that the NVIDIA GeForce NOW version v5.27.28247374, needs to be sideloaded on your Android TV or Xiaomi Mi Box S.

Taking a look at the thread’s discussion, it is also confirmed by several other users that the GeForce Now is working perfectly fine on Android TV and Xiaomi Mi Box S.

As already mentioned, you need to sideload the NVIDIA GeForce Now APK version 5.27.28247374 on your Android TV or Xiaomi Mi Box S in order to play content on your device.
