Nokia is among the few OEMs today with a pretty slim portfolio of devices, although this keeps growing with each new device launched.

With this, and the fact that Nokia sticks to a pretty slim, barebones version of Android (Android One and Android Go), one would expect Nokia to be among the best-performing OEMs in terms of rolling out new software versions. Spoiler, nope, they’re not.

Nokia 1 Plus is a pretty solid device for anyone in the market for an inexpensive Android phone that offers all the basics while remaining affordable.

Not too long ago, we got a hint that Nokia was probably going to roll out a stable Android 11 Go edition to users of Nokia 1 Plus when Vodafone Australia confirmed testing was underway.

Well, true to that allusion, it is now official that the Finnish company has a treat for users of the Nokia 1 Plus as this new Android version is now rolling out.
