Some new updates are up and available for a new set of Android smartphones. Well noticeably, the Verizon Moto e6, Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, Mi 9 Lite, Redmi Note 9S, Nokia 1.3, Nokia C1, Oppo Find X2 Pro, Asus ZenFone 5, and LG G8 ThinQ are picking up latest updates.

To make things clear, Verizon Moto e6, Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, Mi 9 Lite, Redmi Note 9S, LG G8 ThinQ, and Oppo Find X2 Pro gets the April security patchset. Keep in mind that the Oppo Find X2 Pro also gets the new version of the ColorOS 7.1.

Verizon Moto e6

One of major US carriers, Verizon has now pushed the April 2020 security patch for the Moto e6 model. The system update 5 for the device brings in just the security patch.

Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite

The global and Russian variants of the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite are also picking up the April 2020 security patchset. The update arrives with version number V11.0.2.0.QFCMIXM for the global units, while the Russian units are getting V11.0.2.0.QFCRUXM.

Xiaomi Mi 9 SE

The European, global and Russian units of the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE are getting the April 2020 security patchset. The update lands on the Mi 9 SE with version V11.0.5.0.QFBEUXM for the European units, V11.0.3.0.QFBMIXM for global units, and V11.0.3.0.QFBRUXM for the Russian units.

Redmi Note 9S

Another Xiaomi phone, i.e. the Redmi Note 9S is picking up the April 2020 security update. The update arrives with version number V11.0.2.0.QJWRUXM for the Russian users and is purely incremental in nature.

Nokia C1 and Nokia 1.3

Two more Nokia phones are being served with the April 2020 security update. The Nokia C1 and Nokia 1.3 are getting the updates with version number V1.090 and V1.130, respectively.

Ideally, the update will arrive via OTA in batches. However, for those who wish to manually upgrade their phones with the latest update, can grab the update package file from the below section:

Oppo Find X2 Pro

Oppo has also joined the bandwagon in releasing the April 2020 security patchset for its Oppo Find X2 Pro units. Interestingly, this new update also brings along the latest version of the UI, i.e. the ColorOS 7.1 update along with it.

Asus ZenFone 5

A new update is live for the Asus ZenFone 5 with version 17.0615.2003.22 that brings several fixes for the device including, microphone fix for Ok Google not working, fixed OIS, and other camera tweaks.
