Updates are very important for smartphones. They keep the phone bug free, add new features and strengthen the security. There is a new update almost daily, and some of the latest updates that appeared for users over the past few days are detailed below:

Samsung Galaxy S20 series (firmware update)

Samsung has rolled out a firmware update for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and S20 Ultra. The update carries firmware version G98xNKSU1ATC2 and is currently only for the users in South Korea. The update improves the camera and user experience.

Nova 6/ Nova 6 5G / Nova 6 SE February patch

This latest patch for the three devices adds knuckle gesture, optimizes system stability and brings February 2020 security patch. For the Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G, the new update comes with EMUI version 10.0.1.167, while for Nova 6 SE, it is EMUI version 10.0.1.152.

Redmi Note 8 (Android Pie-based January patch)

Xiaomi has released MIUI 11 Stable ROM V11.0.3.0 for Indonesia and India. The update fixes an issue of images overlapped in scrolling screenshots and updates Android Security Patch to January 2020. Also, the patch fixes a couple of notification-related issues. Below are the download links:

MIUI 11 beta 20.3.5 for multiple devices

Xiaomi earlier faced a few issues in releasing the weekly MIUI 11 beta updates due to the coronavirus. Now, it seems, Xiaomi is back on track. It has now rolled the latest MIUI 11 beta build with version 20.3.5.

The update has been rolled for several devices, including Mi Max 3, Mi MIX 3, Redmi K30 4G, Redmi K30 5G, Mi 8 Lite, Mi CC 9/Mi 9 Lite, Redmi K20 Pro/Mi 9T Pro, Mi 6, Mi 8 SE, Mi CC 9 Pro, Mi 10, Mi 8 Explorer, and Mi CC 9 Meitu Edition.

Other devices that got the version 20.3.5 update are Redmi Note 7 Pro, Mi 6X, Redmi Note 5/Note 5 Pro, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Mi 9, Mi MIX 2, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 9 Pro 5G, Redmi K20/Mi 9T, Mi 8, Mi 8 Pro, Redmi Note 8, Mi 9 SE, Mi Note 3, Mi CC 9e and Redmi Note 7/7S.
