New update alert: Realme C3, Realme 6i, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi 7A, Honor Play, Honor 20i & View20, Galaxy Tab S5e & Sony Xperia 8

New updates are up for grabs on some of the Android handsets. Making to the List today are Realme C3, Realme 6i, Honor Play, Honor 20i, Honor View20 (aka V20), and Galaxy Tab S5e [LTE variant] that are getting the latest May update.

April patch is rolling out for the Redmi Note 9 Pro EU variant and Redmi 7A (India). Sony Xperia 8, on the other hand, does not get a monthly OTA, but a major OS upgrade, yes it’s the much-awaited Android 10. Let’s glance at the updates, one at a time:

Realme C3 & Realme 6i

In the Spain region, Realme has pushed the monthly (MAY) OTA to Realme C3 & Realme 6i. Hoping the others will soon follow. This update might bring improvement to the device’s performance along with bugfixes.

Incoming is good news for the Xperia 8 users as Japanese tech giant Sony has officially released the Android 10 for the devices. Just for reminder, Xperia 8 is a Japan-exclusive variant that is not sold globally.
