Today we’re going to talk about the monthly OTAs for the smartphones including, Asus ZenFone 6 (aka Asus 6Z), Realme 2 Pro, Asus ZenFone Max Shot, Nokia 3.2, US unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Honor 9N, all of which are getting the May security patch. Huawei Mate 20 devices are however getting the April update.

Asus ZenFone 6 (aka Asus 6Z)

Asus has released the May security patch for Zenfone 6 (aka Asus 6Z) which brings Bouygues Telecom’s Enabled VoLTE / Vowifi (France) and optimized device stability. The edition is now updated to version 17.1810.2005.153 and is sized at 90.47 MB.

Realme 2 Pro

We mentioned yesterday that Realme C2 users picked up security updates of May, and now the spotlight is on Realme 2 Pro. Much like Realme C2, the update would first be sent to the limited users to make sure there are no crucial errors and then complete the full release in the coming days.

The update brings in UI version RMX1801EX_11_C.31. The size of this update is 347MB.

Asus ZenFone Max Shot

Apart from ZenFone 6, the OEM has confirmed May Patch for the Zenfone Max Shot devices too. Google Security Patch has been updated with this version. It arrives with the Build edition of 16.14.2005.298.

Nokia 3.2

Nokia recently updated the Nokia 3.1 Plus phone to Android 10 which is a major update. Now we’re with the May security patch for Nokia 3.2 which brings along enhanced system protection. The Update size is merely 7.44 MB.

US unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 9

At&T has now pushed Samsung Galaxy Note 9’s May Security upgrade to the unlocked edition. The update includes bug fixes, stronger system reliability, and enhanced protection. Build number N960U1UES4DTD1/N960U1OYM4DTD1 sized 175.18 MB is hitting the devices.

Huawei Mate 20

Huawei has released the latest April Update for Eastern Europe Mate 20 devices, other regions should follow shortly. Coming as version 10.0.0.214(C432E8R1P5), sized 570 MB the updates increase the device stability.

Honor 9N

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has pushed the April security patch for Honor 9N. This specific upgrade would render the device more secure. It comes with the build C675E18R1P4(9.1.0.146). This update is measured at 203 MB.
