One Piece and Nissin collaboration have done it again with the latest Hungry Days commercial. This time, the commercial features two of the most beloved characters of the One Piece series, Ace and Whitebeard.
One Piece fans are always thrilled to see the latest commercial ever since the first One Piece themed hungry days commercial of Nissin aired in 2019. Not only are notable One Piece characters depicted as high schoolers, but the commercial also seems to follow the storyline of One Piece.
The story you may have missed to notice
The first One Piece Nissin commercial lasted for about five minutes. It reimagined the Straw hats and other One Piece characters as high school students or members of the school staff. Although the commercials were short, we can obviously see the similarity of the events that transpired in the One Piece story.
What many may have failed to notice is that there are other side stories behind the scenes of the Straw hats. Particularly, the story of Marshall D. Teach.
The story builds up to the latest commercial
In the first commercial, Teach can be seen sucking up with Whitebeard. It was shown for only about a second so it could be easy to miss. In the second one, Teach and Thatch can be seen fighting over a devil fruit. In this scene, Whitebeard was on the background, while Ace and Sabo were passing by.
In the third commercial, Teach is with his crew wearing PE uniforms, and Ace picking up a fight with them. Whitebeard can also be seen trying to stop Ace.
Ace and Whitebeard’s defeat relived
In the latest One Piece Nissin commercial which was just posted on
Youtube, the story continues. This time, the parallel is in the Marineford arc. The characters were portrayed as having a high school cavalry battle.
Epic battle scenes were relived, including Whitebeard VS Kuzan, Marco VS Borsalino, and Jozu VS Sakazuki. Then ultimately the part where Sakazuki takes down Ace. And just before the 30-second commercial ends, Whitebeard and Teach face each other in a final battle.
