Recently I’ve heard about the interface update that is going to be coming down to older Fire TV decoy this year’s, evryone says what Fire TV devices it will go to, but not if it will go to built-in Fire TVs. Will the insignia Fire TV addition be getting this update?

So what is the status of this update to the Fire TV smart TVs? Well, in the release notes, Amazon says that the Fire TV smart TVs will get updated later this year. However, this report falls short of giving concrete confirmation of the exact dates.
The all-new Fire TV experience is now available on: Fire TV Stick (3rd Gen), Fire TV Stick Lite, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Cube (1st and 2nd Gen), and Fire TV (3rd Gen Pendant Design). Support for Fire TV Stick (2nd Gen) and Fire TV Smart TVs is coming later this year.
