Need for Speed: Heat, the upcoming 24th entry in the most famous gaming title, is in talks these days. A lot of hype was created among the fans all over the world when the game maker EA launched the first trailer of the Need for Speed: Heat on YouTube channel.
The game is scheduled to launch on November 08 , 2019 globally on all the major gaming platforms. However, it will be available three days earlier, that is, November 05 on Origin Access Premier or Play First Trial.
While the game is more than two months away from the scheduled official launch, fans of the popular gaming title can’t wait for it. NFS Heat is being discussed on social media, and the hype can be seen on various online discussion platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit.
Recently, while answering to a question on Reddit, EA Community Manager Ben Walke, confirmed that there would be no Loot Boxes in NFS Heat. Well, this may not be a big deal for the majority of gamers, but if you are supposedly a hardcore gamer, you know it very well.
The story goes back to 2017 when EA released the infamous Star Wars Battlefront II. The mega-publisher was criticized by fans all over the globe because the players could find compelling characters and items in loot boxes easily by paying bucks for it.

Whereas, it takes a lot of time for other gamers to find the same characters or items. And because of this, in any online game, players can easily win the match-making by spending some bucks.
In response to the criticism and to make the online match-making fair and balanced, EA removed some of the items from the loot boxes. This loot box-issue can be considered serious, as, in 2019, Democrat senators in the US proposed legislation on loot boxes and games described as being “pay-to-win.”
Well, it looks, the game publisher has taken care of it, and unlike Need for Speed: Payback, we are not going to see any kind of loot boxes in Need for Speed: Heat for the purpose of monetizing.
EA Community Manager Ben Walke, while responding to the question asked on Reddit, stated, “There are no Lootboxes in NFS Heat, and there won’t be.”

Another user, on the same thread, asked Ben how EA plans to monetize Need for Speed: Heat post-launch, to which Ben replied, “We plan to have post-launch paid-DLC in the form of car packs. Later this year we’ll introduce a time-save pack, which will show all collectables on the map. That’s it.”
