The NBA app is a one-stop shop for basketball fans to watch live games and highlights, check the stats for various matches and read the latest league-related news.
The app is available for almost every modern platform including Android, iOS, Apple TV, Roku streaming devices and more. However, the stability of the app has always been questionable.
For instance, we recently covered an issue where users were unable to turn off captions or subtitles on the NBA app.

And now, many Roku users have been reporting an issue where the NBA app keeps crashing after short intervals of time. In some cases, the app takes them to the home screen every time they try to watch a game.

Unfortunately, it seems that developers are unaware of the issue with the NBA app crashing on Roku streaming devices. You might have to wait indefinitely before a fix arrives.

12:10 pm (IST): Some NBA League Pass users are still reporting (1, 2, 3, 4) crashing issues on Roku devices.
And while the support team hasn’t acknowledged this problem yet, they are asking those affected to provide more details via DM.
