myQ is a popular garage door controller that also lets you control your home lighting from anywhere in the world.

It also doubles up in terms of functionality, with users getting real-time notifications, ability to set schedules and share with family members.

In the last few years, Google Assistant’s popularity has broken records with many services integrating into the Assistant. myQ happens to be one of them.

For years, people have successfully used the voice assistant with Chamberlain myQ. Having said that, the myQ app seems to be currently having an issue working with Google Assistant.

Whenever users tried to control myQ device using voice commands they were greeted with a ‘myQ no longer available on Google Assistant’ error.

Initially, users thought that myQ was done providing integration service with Google Assistant.

Anyone know what’s up with this? Was working yesterday, but today I “Hey Google, ask MyQ to close the garage door” and I get “Sorry, MyQ is no longer available”. It’s no longer in the “works with Google” services list either. Can’t find anything about it on the line.(Source)

Hi All, It seems MyQ is no longer available on Google Assistant. I was never able to set it up to work due to a redirect bug on the linking site. This leads me to believe either of the two options Google integration dropped Proper Google Home version inbound For those who did get to work, is it broken now? Any insiders know anything?

But as it turns out, myQ is having a service disruption issue with Google Assistant integration.

The company has updated its website to reflect the status of service on its support page. However, there does not seem to be any update on when the issue will be fixed.

In the meantime, you can make use of the myQ app to control your myQ garage door opener.

We hope myQ app developers fix the issue with Google Assistant so that users can start giving voice commands to control their devices like before.
