Motorola is sending out the Android 11 update for eligible devices at a steady pace.
And even though it hopped on board the Android 11 train later than most OEMs, it has still released the update to more devices than a few others.
Earlier this month, we reported that Motorola released Android 11 for the One Hyper in Brazil. Since then, the update has slowly but surely made its way to units in other regions.
Now, new developments indicate that Motorola has started sending out Android 11 for the Motorola One Hyper in the U.S. as well.
The information was shared via the Moto Updates Tracker group on Telegram that automatically tracks Motorola update releases.
According to the details available, the update is rolling out to unlocked or retail models of the Motorola One Hyper with the software version RPF31.Q1-21-20-1.
Motorola has not yet updated its official software update portal to reflect the release of Android 11 for the One Hyper in the country.
Moreover, the official changelog is still elusive. Although, you can expect to see the standard Android 11 features make an appearance here too such as the Chat Bubbles and improved privacy controls.
Do note that the update will be rolling out in a staged manner, meaning it might take a few hours or even days before it arrives on your unit.
That said, we’ll continue to keep tabs on the status and availability of Android 11 for all eligible devices from Motorola.
So stay tuned to our dedicated tracker to be informed on all the latest developments.
