Numerous smartphone devices, including the Google Pixel, Samsung, OnePlus, and others, have already received the stable Android 13 update.
However, it appears that this is not the case with several Motorola smartphones, like the Moto Edge 20 Pro. Some people are still impatiently waiting for the update.
Motorola Android 13 update to allegedly begin rolling out soon
Some Motorola Edge 20 Pro users are eagerly awaiting the Android 13 update and are upset that the company has not announced a firm release date (1,2,3,4,5).
In India, Airtel and Vi offer 5G support for the gadget, while Reliance Jio claims it is still in the works. This has been going for a number of months.
Some Moto Edge 20 Pro users are concerned that they may end up in the same scenario as Moto One 5G Ace users who had their Android 12 update plans overturned.
Considering never buying another phone from @motorolaindia. Moto was my first phone back in Hutch days and given the status of @reliancejio 5G Software Update on @Moto Edge 20 Pro, it’s time to consider alternative. @moto is fooling since November about Jio 5G. #Jio5G #Edge20Pro

Well, there is a good piece of information for Motorola Edge 20 Pro users as the alleged release date for the Android 13 update is somewhere in April 2023.
This information is in-line with what a Senior MotoAgent said when they suggested an early 2023 timeline for the Android 13 update.
Will it fix call and random restarts issues
Some Motorola Edge 20 and Edge 20 Pro users have reported outgoing call issues and random restarts, leading them to worry whether the Android 13 update would fix these bugs.
When impacted users attempt to make a phone call, nothing happens, no dialing sound or anything. This problem is only briefly resolved when they toggle airplane mode on/off.
Since the latest security patch I’ve noticed on the rare times I need to make an outbound call nothing happens, no dialing or nothing. Inbound calls work fine. I called the network provider they said all was fine.
