MLS (Major League Soccer) Season Pass is available on Apple TV’s streaming service. This is fantastic news for soccer fans because they can watch live and on-demand MLS games on their Apple TV.

The season began on February 25, 2023, and the MLS Season Pass does include every live MLS regular season match, the complete Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, and Leagues Cup in one destination.

MLS fans fume at Apple TV for displaying scores

Yet, some MLS fans are displeased with Apple TV because it displays scores during replays even when the option to turn them off is enabled (1,2,3,4,5,6,7).

While scores are not visible during a live match, users note that the MLS tab includes a slideshow at the top that displays scores for replays.

The scores are also included in the thumbnail for a match’s replays or highlights, and thus end up serving as a spoiler.

This begs the question of why MLS supporters would watch a match replay when they already know the result.

A solution for this problem has been requested because the present option to disable scores does not hide them from the slideshow in the MLS tab, icons, or thumbnails.

What in the world Apple!!! we missed the earlier games, went to watch the replays and they post the damn scores right on the screen… They also post the scores on the Live matches, god forbid you want to start from the beginning.

I was excited for AppleTV and its partnership with MLS.I can’t make every live game so i will have to watch replays a lot. With having the score already posted on the thumbnail and the screen really irritates me. Is there an option to turn it off?

Furthermore, some viewers claim that the option to turn off scores is not available on the website or TV and is only available on the app (1,2,3,4).

I cannot turn off live scores in the @AppleTV app using Apple TV 4K in Finland, please help! @AppleSupport There is no such option in the settings!
