There are still some Xiaomi devices that are yet to receive the MIUI 12 update and that includes Poco devices as well.
The Poco M2 Pro and Pocophone F1, also known as Poco F1 in India, have already received the MIUI 12 update but only partially.
This means that not all users have got their hands on the latest custom skin yet and there is no word on when that is going to happen.
However, those who have received the MIUI 12 update for their Poco devices are facing a peculiar issue which involves the Android 10 full screen gestures.
While the Android 10 full screen gesture functionality remains intact on Poco devices after the MIUI 12 update, the option to hide/enable the full screen indicator is missing.
This information comes from a series of Tweets regarding the gesture bar which appears at the bottom of the screen when the Android 10 full screen gestures are enabled.
As per the shared details, it appears that the Full screen display settings of the MIUI 12 update does not include the Hide full screen indicator option for Poco devices.
This means that the gesture bar remains disabled on Poco devices or at least the Poco M2 Pro and users have no option to enable it from the settings after the MIUI 12 update.
It is, however, unclear whether the option to hide/enable the full screen indicator is shifted to some other section of device settings or not available for Poco devices altogether.
While this may appear as a small aesthetic hiccup, Poco users are actually after such tiny tweaks while also noticing that other MIUI 12 running devices from Xiaomi have such options.
Nevertheless, it is evident that Xiaomi wants Poco to be treated as an independent brand but not giving due attention to Poco devices when it comes to software updates does not explain it.
Poco is also working on Poco UI, a separate skin with customizations specific to Poco devices, which should make things easier for Poco in terms of software development.
Moreover, while some users are eager to get the Poco Launcher 3.0, others are asking for it to be replaced by the default MIUI 12 system launcher.
