Xiaomi is hard at work with MIUI 12 as it has been over six months and its development is still on with several devices in line to get it.

While it is good to see the OEM striving to refine the user experience, major updates like MIUI 12 are prone to bugs and issues.

Now, Xiaomi has addressed several bugs that are present across different versions of MIUI 12 while a few of them are device specific.

The OEM shared an updated weekly MIUI bug report which includes issues related to the Discord app freezing, Truecaller app keeps stopping, and low voice message recording volume.

The Discord issue is specific to the Poco X3 MIUI 12 update across different regions while the Truecaller issue was present on all devices.

It has been outlined that the Truecaller app developer has fixed the said issue but it is unclear whether the problem is indeed fixed or still persistent.

Apart from that, the low voice message recording volume issue exists on the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro European MIUI 12 ROM.

Xiaomi has not mentioned when the existing bugs are going to get fixed, however, the steady development of the latest custom skin suggests that the OEM is leaving no stone unturned.

MIUI 12 has been the biggest update for Xiaomi’s in-house custom skin and a lot of devices have already bagged it.

Taking the number of eligible devices into consideration, it is understandable why the OEM has not been able to completely fine-tune the latest custom skin.

Also, it is virtually impossible for software to be free from bugs and issues which is why developers provide constant support throughout software’s life cycle.
