Now, some new development appears to be taking place as more devices are being tested with the Android 11 update.

Internal Android 11 testing might have started for the Mi 9, Mi 9 Pro, and Mi 9T Pro (aka Redmi K20 Pro) in China.

The information comes from the MIUI Updates Tracker Telegram channel which has proven to be a credible source.

However, the info should still be taken with a pinch of salt until the download links for the beta ROMs become available.

We will update this post once more details are available but it is safe to assume that Xiaomi might indeed be working on Android 11 for the Mi 9, Mi 9 Pro, and Mi 9T Pro (aka Redmi K20 Pro).

This is simply due to the fact that all devices in question have received only one OS update so far and are eligible to receive one more.
