McDonald's app down, not working or won't let you sign in? You're not alone, fix in the works

Hungry users have been flocking to Twitter to report that the McDonald’s app is currently down and not working.

Reports started popping up on Downdetector at least a few hours ago and the outage is ongoing.

According to some reports, the app isn’t responding or letting users sign in to their accounts. This means users are unable to place orders for their McDonald’s meal.

Here’s one such error message some users are getting:

McDonald’s support has confirmed that they are aware of the issue and a fix is currently in the works.

we are currently facing a technical issue with the app and we’re aware of this. be assured that we’re working to resolve it as quickly as possible. (Source)

As a user pointed out, the problem seems to be a server-side issue so a fix should be incoming rather quickly, at least we and the empty stomachs of those impacted hope so.

In the meantime, uninstalling and reinstalling should fix the problem, according to support.

We’ll post an update if and when we come across ant further development. Although, as mentioned above, it’s likely that the McDonald’s app won’t remain down for much longer.
