If you didn’t already know, checkra1n is one of the popular jailbreaking tools among iOS users now, irrespective of its network issue on Chinese handsets. Yesterday, we have published a trick to keep the jailbreak even after installing an OTA update.

In addition, you might have also read about jailbreak tweaks like brightness sensitive Dark Mode toggle, Zenith, and upcoming iPhone X-like gestures. Today, what gained our attention is another tweak (LockWidgets) that helps you place widgets on the lockscreen.

You know! Widgets are usually available to use on the home screen. What if you want to place some of them on the lockscreen. Unless you have a jailbroken iPhone/iPad, you have got no ways to fulfil this need.

You did jailbreak your iDevice? Well then, you can use LockWidgets to set yourself at peace. Available on Dynastic Repo, it needs you to follow the steps given below for installing the same on your iOS gadget.

1. Open Cydia or Sileo on your device.
2. Tap the Sources tab.
3. Tap the Edit button, and then Add.
4. Type https://repo.dynastic.co/, and tap Add Source.
5. Tap on this repository, and navigate to Tweaks.
6. Select LockWidgets and install.

So yeah, it is available for free. However, you may encounter issues if you have Coolstar’s fork of RocketBootstrap (used by Electra and Chimera jailbreaks). The developers are working on a fix and it should go live soon.
