With Android 10 being almost 9 months old, Google is prepping up for the rollout of the first beta of the Android 11 update for the users. But, there is still a lot of devices waiting for the stable Android 10 update. One of which is the LG G8X ThinQ.

While the Sprint carrier variant of the LG G8X ThinQ has already grabbed the Android 10 update, moreover, the unlocked variants of the LG G8X ThinQ have also picked up the update. Other carrier network users are now pretty eager to know when the update will hit on their units.

Well, some good news is available for the users in Canada, because as per the official website of Telus has updated their Android 10 update schedule page which depicts that the Android 10 update for the LG G8X ThinQ will be rolled out on May-end.

More specifically, the update is scheduled to be pushed for the Telus carrier variant of the LG G8X ThinQ on May 27. Here is the official screenshot for your reference:

So, Telus carrier network users have to wait a few days in order to receive the LG G8X ThinQ Android 10 (LG UX 9.0) update. Talking about the features that it will bring, it will pack night mode, darkened wallpapers, new icons and colors, smoother animations, full-screen gestures, and much more.

While as far as the Android 11 is concerned as per our report, the LG G8X ThinQ will pick up one more Android OS update in the form of Android 11 (LG UX 11). However, in the absence of any official information, we would advise our readers to take this piece of information with a pinch of salt.
