LG wrapped up its G7 ThinQ Android 10 beta testing back in May and the stable update has been rolled out to numerous LG G7 ThinQ variants. The Android 10 stable update started rolling out for the Korean G7 ThinQ units in the same month followed by the T-Mobile variant.

Those on the Freedom Network G7 ThinQ also bagged the stable update in July. However, there are still some variants of the device that are yet to receive the Android 10 update. Among them, the Indian G7 ThinQ for which the Android 10 kernel source code has been released recently.

Now, the much awaited update is live for the European LG G7 ThinQ variant. The update version V30b brings Android 10 to the unlocked G7 ThinQ units across Europe. The OEM is yet to make an official announcement on this but device owners have already started sharing the information.

The new update weighs about 1.7GB and also brings along the updated Android security patches. With this update, European LG G7 ThinQ users can finally enjoy the Android 10 experience.

This is simply because LG is still struggling to update its eligible devices to Android 10 and no official announcements on the Android 11 update have been made yet.

Update 1 (September 25)

A user has taken to Reddit to confirm that the Slidelight feature has made its way over to the LG G7 ThinQ after the Android 10 update which also brings LG UX 9.0 to the device. The feature lights up part of the screen when a notification arrives.
