LG’s exit from the smartphone market was expected but tragic nonetheless. How so? Well, even if you weren’t on the lookout for an LG smartphone, good competition between brands is nearly always a good thing for us consumers.

That said, LG is still expected to release the Android 11 as well as Android 12 updates for eligible models. Of course, Android 12 is still far-off since the company is yet to seed Android 11 to several phones.

The update is currently live for devices such as the LG Velvet 5G, LG V60 ThinQ, and the LG X5 Android One in certain regions.
