Kick is one of the fastly growing streaming platforms that is home to some of the world’s biggest content creators. However, like any streaming platform, Kick also has its fair share of bugs and issues.

Some Kick app users (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), are facing issues in using the app on Android and iOS as they are unable to get past the 2 Factor Authentication screen.

It is alleged that one gets a ‘wrong code’ error every time the authentication code is input into the app. Unfortunately, the issue affects even those who have never opted for the 2 Factor Authentication security.

The glitch has been persistent ever since the app was released for mobile platforms and remains unresolved even after some app updates.

And understandably, this isn’t ideal for those who had installed the app to be able to stream content easily with their mobile devices.

Has anyone been able to log in via mobile app yet? 2FA is not verifying for me.

A Twitter user claims that the company is aware of the issue. However, no official ETA for the bug fix has been mentioned.

Potential workaround

Luckily, we did come across a potential workaround that may help solve your problem. It has been recommended that you log in to your account via Desktop and disable the 2 Factor Authentication from the account settings.

After this, you should clear the app data and relaunch the app to sign in to your profile. Also, if you are interested in using 2FA you can use your desktop machine to reactivate it.

However, some affected users (1,2) claim that they are unable to log in to the app after disabling the secondary authentication.

We sincerely hope that the company will resolve this problem shortly.
