Verizon outage
The Verizon network in the US is acting glitchy for some users. We are seeing reports that suggest there could be an outage of sorts. Here are some reports:

We couldn’t find an official word from Verizon on these complaints, especially on their social media channels. But we’re continuously tracking the matter, and will update the story as and when we have more info.
Update 1
A Verizon rep reached out to us over email to say there was no outage. Here’s what exactly they said:
There is no network outage today. You indicate you have seen nothing from us on social about this, because there is no issue

Xbox Live outage
It’s now coming to light that the Xbox Live service is currently not working. The official Xbox status page shows there’s indeed some issue with the service.
