Is Verizon down, not working or undergoing an outage today in 2023? [Cont. updated]

Over the years, Verizon Wireless has been rapidly adopting new technologies besides the classic phone services, including home internet through 5G networks.

And even though millions of people rely on its services to stay connected across the United States, the past year taught us that even the gigantic Verizon isn’t free from random cellular or internet outages.

Granted, this article will be keeping track of Verizon services whenever they are down, not working or experiencing an outage or downtime in 2023 for any reason.

Update 25 [Mar. 30; 11:52]: Some users (1,2,3) had connectivity issues, but now the service is getting back to normal.

Update 24 [Mar. 14; 08:32]: Users report a new outage on the network (1, 2).

a. [11:00]: The service is now working correctly again.

Update 23 [Mar. 10; 16:10]: The recent outage has now been fixed.

Update 22 [Mar. 9; 12:15]: Internet and cellular connectivity outage persists (1, 2, 3, 4) for some users.

Update 21 [Mar. 8; 12:08]: Home Wi-Fi still down for some, along with cellular connectivity issues (1, 2, 3).

Update 20 [Mar. 7; 12:39]: Fios internet service down (1, 2) in some areas.

Update 19 [Mar. 3; 08:48]: Outage in certain areas has persisted for a couple of days, no official word yet (1, 2, 3, 4).

Update 18 [Mar. 2; 08:53]: Widespread outage in multiple zones (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) still an issue.

Update 17 [Mar. 1; 08:35]: Service continues to be down for some (1, 2, 3, 4).

Update 16 [Feb. 28; 12:04]: Fios internet currently down in multiple regions (1, 2, 3).

a. [14:00]: Latest internet outage already fixed.

Update 15 [Feb. 22; 16:46]: The outage appears to have been resolved.

Update 14 [Feb. 21; 17:46]: Outage troubling (1, 2, 3, 4) some subscribers gets acknowledged.

Update 13 [Feb. 16; 12:24]: Service is currently down (1, 2, 3, 4) for some.

a. [17:44]: The recent outage has now been resolved.

Update 12 [Feb. 15; 10:58]: Some users are again facing issues with the service (1, 2, 3, 4).

a. [17:31]: The outage appears to have been fixed.

Update 11 [Feb. 14; 09:35]: Service reportedly (1, 2, 3, 4) down for some.

a. [17:51]: The recent outage has now been resolved.

Update 10 [Feb. 3; 08:39]: Partial network outage reported by some (1, 2, 3).

Update 9 [Feb. 2; 10:06]: Service reportedly (1, 2, 3) not working for some.

a. [18:25]: The recent outage appears to have been resolved.

Update 8 [Jan. 26; 11:32]: Fios internet service outage reported (1, 2, 3).

a. [12:40] Outage appears to have been fixed.

Update 7 [Jan. 20; 13:15]: Service outage was reported (1,2,3) a few hours ago. Fortunately, things have stabilized now.

Update 6 [Jan. 19; 11:00]: Internet outage (1,2,3,4) in multiple regions.

a. [15:30] The recent outage appears to have been resolved.

Update 5 [Jan. 10; 11:18]: The recent outage appears to have been resolved.

Update 4 [Jan. 9; 11:29]: Service facing an outage in some regions.

Update 3 [Jan. 6; 11:42]: The recent outage appears to have been resolved.

Update 2 [Jan. 5; 11:08]: Service currently down or not working for some.

Update 1 [Jan. 4; 11:40]: Internet outage reported (1, 2, 3) in multiple regions.
