Original story (from May 19) follows:

After what must have felt like an eternity for these users, finally, the Android 10 update is rolling out to the Nokia 5.1 Plus devices. This update brings all the Android 10 goodness and the not so latest April 2020 security patch to this device.

This has been a pretty long time coming, with early reports of this update dating back a couple of months. There has been quite a bit of back and forth regarding this update.

In mid-April, we saw an internal build of Android 10 for this device along with that for the Nokia 8 Sirocco leaking to the public. This was quickly followed by a full hands-on video of a Nokia 5.1 Plus running Android 10 beta.

It was then confirmed that the update would be hitting relevant devices sometime in May and the same reports were later confirmed when it became apparent that the update was imminent.

What was the hold up you might ask? Well, according to Nokia reps, this update was delayed again and again and was only going to get released once developers found a fix to a WiFi bug that was afflicting the device. Just yesterday, Juho Sarvika stated the update is planned for this week.

But now it is finally here. Following the OEMs recent trend the update will be pushed out in waves, starting today.

10% of all these approved markets will receive the Update today. 50% by May 22nd and on May 24th 100% of these approved markets will have received Android 10.
