Huawei has recently launched the Huawei P40 series that includes the P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+. But, apart from these devices, what got the attention of the tech-enthusiasts was the EMUI 10.1.
The OEM has now joined the likes of Samsung, which introduced it’s One UI 2.1, which brings some more improvements and features to the Android 10 running Samsung phones.
The idea behind this new version of the custom UI, i.e. the EMUI 10.1 is to provide some extra features and UI improvements to the Android 10 running Huawei phones. But, it also brings Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) based upgrades in an attempt to ease Huawei’s transition away from Google Mobile Services.
Talking about the features, this new EMUI 10.1 will be bringing multi-window, multi-device control panel, multi-screen collaboration, Huawei MeeTime (video conferencing app), and Huawei’s very own voice assistant “Ceilia” for the eligible devices.
And as per recent reports, Huawei Nova 5 Pro is getting its EMUI 10.1 beta update for the users in China. PiunikaWeb readers should note that the EMUI 10.1 beta recruitment for the Huawei Nova 5 Pro began back on April 9 and the window ended on April 13.
The EMUI 10.1 beta update lands on the Huawei Nove 5 Pro with version 10.1.0.116 and brings all the new and improved features for the handset. This information was announced on the official Chinese community channel of Huawei.
Keep in mind that this update is rolling out for the Huawei Nova 5 Pro users who were successful in registering for the EMUI 10.1 beta recruitment.
If you have not yet received the notification for this new update, then you can head over to Settings to check for the update manually and enjoy the latest features of the EMUI 10.1 on their phones.
Before upgrading, to the latest beta, users should also keep in mind that being a beta version, this EMUI 10.1 update will carry certain bugs and issues with it. So, upgrade your phones after careful consideration.
Happy Installing!
